Throughout the game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Donovan Mitchell, Chet Holmgren, Jared McCain, Alex Caruso, and Isaiah Hartenstein all delivered outstanding performances. Despite varying levels of production in the first three quarters, Gilgeous-Alexander was exceptional in the fourth quarter, consistently hitting critical shots to seal the win. He finished with 35 points and 8 assists, a dominant display. Mitchell continued to be a reliable offensive force, shooting 19-of-12 for 28 points, showcasing remarkable scoring consistency.
Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein anchored the interior. Holmgren went 9-for-6, posting 16 points and 9 rebounds, dominating the paint after a slow first quarter. Although Hartenstein didn’t score, his contributions on the boards and defense were vital, posting an impressive +30 plus-minus. Jared McCain also made key shots, providing significant scoring off the bench with 13 points. Alex Caruso hit 3-of-5 from three-point range and made crucial plays on both ends, maintaining his value as a support player.
Luguentz Dort had a passable performance. While his defense against LeBron James was effective, his offensive struggles persisted. Nonetheless, his defensive contributions were enough.
Cason Wallace, Jalen Williams, and Isaiah Joe were disappointing. Wallace had the worst plus-minus on the team, offering no help on either end. Joe missed shots and contributed little else. Williams lacked confidence in his shooting, and both players posted poor plus-minus numbers.
