Portuguese side Porto have expressed interest in signing Barcelona’s Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, according to Sky Sports.
Sources indicate that the Portuguese club is waiting for the 37-year-old forward to leave Barcelona before making a concrete offer. At present, the player has not announced a final decision to leave the Spanish side.
In April, it was reported that Barcelona offered Lewandowski a new one-year contract, but offers from other teams proved more financially attractive. The 37-year-old’s current deal with Barcelona expires in June.
Beyond Porto, Juventus, AC Milan, as well as several clubs from MLS and Saudi Arabia have also shown genuine interest in the player.
This season, Lewandowski has played 43 matches for Barcelona across all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing two assists.
